Newport News Sensitive Santa

December 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

We are happy to announce a visit from a Sensitive Santa! We have partnered with Cherry Hill Photography, a photography company, to provide families with a private experience with the Sensitive Santa at Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News before it opens to the public starting at 9:00 am. Please RSVP and you will be assigned a time slot. We only need 1 RSVP Per Family on Meetup.

No purchase is required for the child to visit with Santa. However, this is NOT a free photo event, and photo packages are available for purchase.
You are not permitted to take your own photos.

The mall will be a quieter environment for the kids as they do not open to the public until 11:00 am. Cherry Hill Photography will have you fill out a quick questionnaire about your child with Autism (age and some things they may want for Christmas so that they can personalize the experience with Santa).

If there is a family you still going through the photo process, then we will have holiday friendly coloring pages and craft to help your child while you are waiting to take your photo.

Space is limited we can only take a certain amount of families. RSVP is required for this event. WALK UPS ARE NOT ALLOWED!

This event will be open to siblings of a child with Autism as well, however due to time restrictions, the sibling and the child with Autism may have to visit Santa and take their photo together.

To help ease congestion, we will split families into the time slots below:

9:00 am
9:15 am
9:30 am
9:45 am
10:00 am
10:15 am
10:30 am

Nicole Miller will confirm what your time slot will be or if you will have to choose another. Please feel free to email her at nicole.miller@tidewaterasa.org.
