Our Snow Day on January 25, 2013 gave many of us a break from our every day routines. Every once in a while, we all need a change in scenery.

This snow day gave some of us much more. It gave us a chance to grab magical moments…AND it gave us hope.

Overwhelmed with joy that my two sensory-sensitive kids were able to enjoy this winter weather (usually things like snow jackets, hats, gloves, and even pants, cause some major melt-downs around here!) #autismblessings

Sometimes it takes years of therapy, sometimes it takes one snow flake.
