Real Estate Roller Coaster Ride

In the hayday, sellers were on top of the world.  As we started to go down that slippery slope our emotions got the best of us.  Some felt denial, fear, and outright panic as they watched their home value decline month after month.  Now, buyers are asking for the world and some are getting while others are not.  Check out this graphs which depicts the roller coaster we all ride and why real estate is still a good investment:

Slide20 I believe 2011 is the point of maximum opportunity.  If you gamble, the interest rates may get you in the end.  Remember, when buying look at all the costs: principal (sale price), interest (right now we are still around 4.5%), taxes, and insurance (be sure to get 3 quotes).
